SUSSEX BRANCH PRESENTED WITH CLUBMARK AT THE SUSSEX SPORTS AWARDS 2013

The Sussex Branch of the S&TA are one of only three fishing clubs in Sussex to have achieved Clubmark status and Alan Purnell and Rod Yuill were pleased to be invited to attend the Sussex Sports Awards 2013 at the Grand Hotel Brighton on Friday the 29th. of November 2013 where the Branch received  a Certificate of Congratulations on our achievement.

Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for sports clubs with junior sections.  Clubmark serves two main functions.  It gives parents, guardians and carers the confidence that their children will be attending a safe club where they can learn new skills in a safe learning environment.  It is also a sign that the club is working to ensure all it's members reach their full potential.  Sports clubs must meet rigorous set standards to achieve and maintain Clubmark status.

Anyone thinking of starting to fly fish or those wanting to brush up their casting and waterside skills may obtain further information by visiting the Instruction section on this website.
